It is so diverse, in fact, that one can actually see many different wonders in the land of the east. So are you up for an adventure? If so, why not visit South Korea for hiking? Or maybe towards the Himalayas to conquer one of the many mountain peaks there. Whatever your flavor may be; land, water, or air, Asian adventures are the way to go. Here are some of the most exciting destinations in Asia today.

Surfing in India

While some people think of the Ganjes once India is mentioned, others tend to wonder what India has to offer. Well, surfing for one, and it happens in some of the most secluded beaches around. Since the international scene hasn’t caught into the India surfing bug, you can expect the resorts to be relatively empty even during the peak surf seasons. The only drawback here is that it can get really hot on the sands, so those with sensitive skin might want to take some extra precautions when it comes to protecting themselves. Kodi Bengre in Manipal takes a very laid back approach to shelter. You can rent out a tent that can be found right next to the water. Each is shaded by large palm trees dotting the secluded spot. Pondicherry in Tamil is another great beach to explore, and it’s relatively cool compared to other Indian Beaches.

Mongolian Camping

Mongolia

Mongolia and its people are some of the most hard core folk around. A majority of Mongolians actually still work with their nomadic traditions. They move from pasture to pasture in accordance to the season, they have sports, and there is a sense of community even when their next closest neighbor is 100 miles away. At the same time, a lot of the Mongolian landscapes remain largely unchanged. So how do you get a camping trip to the steppes of the Mongols? Considering how safe the region has become, it’s actually quite easy. All that matters here is that you find a trip with a guide who knows the best spots for hikes and exercise.  At night, the utterly lack of light pollution and pristine air allow you and your group to see star trails for as long as the eye can see.

Spelunking in Vietnam

One of the reasons why Vietnam is such an attractive land now is because its currently growing as a part of the Asian economic boom. It’s also got dense and deep jungles which are hiding treasures of their own. Son Doong, for one, is a remarkable natural wonder. When entering, one can be forgiven for thinking that it is just another large hole in the ground. Son Doong is an extremely deep and large cave. It plays host to its own jungle and river. It has recently been opened to the public, but the Vietnamese government has imposed a strict number when it comes to visitors. There is, however, no down side for when you’re picked for a trip. Firstly, the full tour takes days and that means camping until you hit the end. The cavern remains largely untouched, so taking in the sights of wildlife can really be relaxing.
