The US-50 runs from east to west beginning at Ocean City, Maryland and ends at Sacramento, California. It passes through 12 states. This route is famous for its stretch throughout Nevada. You will drive through miles of mountains and desert. Hence, it is infamous for being the loneliest road in the country. It is a lonely road but a fun journey. The views include Nevada Beach and the Great Basin National Park.

Hill Country

This road trip is just within Texas, but considering how vast the state is, this can take you a while. Starting from Austin, this trip ends in Bandera. You will find the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area where the pink rock can be found. You may even head out for a tube trip at the Guadalupe River.

These routes will let you see the best US has to offer. Yes, there are a lot of regional flights available these days that will take you from Point A to Point B in just a matter of minutes. However, when you are up there, you won’t really see anything. On the other hand, if you take the road, you will have an amazing experience.
