Check Out What Not to Pack on Your Vacation. Ladies, You Might Be Guilty of the Second

Travel Luggage

You probably have read all tips on how to pack like a pro on your vacation so you can travel more conveniently. This time, let’s go through the things that should be left at home instead. Sometimes, you get too excited that you tend to bring a lot of things even when you can survive the trip without them. Aside from saving yourself some bucks for going over the weight limit allowed on airports, it would also be more convenient to you as you don’t have to carry bulky things around. Let’s take a look at the list so you can start removing them from your luggage in case you already packed them.

Shampoo and Body Wash

Shampoo

We know that shampoo and body wash are essential for your hygiene. However, there’s no need to pack those big bottles as they are heavy. If you’re staying in a hotel, accommodation often comes with free shampoo and soap, which you can use instead. In case you don’t want to use any other brands but the ones you’re using, you may transfer the content in a smaller bottle, just enough for your stay, which would be lighter and more convenient to bring.

Several Pairs of Shoes

Some people just can’t get enough of shoes, especially the ladies. However, if you’re on a trip, it’s best to bring two pair of shoes maximum. Choose those that are versatile so you can wear them for casual or formal events. To make the most out of your vacation, they should be comfortable to wear. You wouldn’t want to walk around with blisters on your feet as this could ruin your trip. No matter how cute your new shoes are, might as well go for the shoes that you’ve worn before to prevent sores.

Too Many Clothes

Clothes

Just like shoes, you’re probably packing more clothes than you need. After all, you want to look your best and at the same time, you want to wear something that would be appropriate for the place or event you’re attending. Again, versatility is important. Choosing pieces of clothing that you can match with each other would be a great alternative for saving space on your luggage.

Bottles of Medicines

You really don’t have to bring everything with you. If you’re taking maintenance medications, bring only those that you would use for the duration of your trip. There’s no sense of bringing everything with you when you only need to take a specific number during your travel. This is also true for medicines for treating common problems like headache, fever and stomachache. Moreover, they are often easily available on drugstores all over the world.

Books to Read

You’re a bookworm we get it. However, aside from being really heavy, reading books while on a vacation, especially if it’s the first time you’re visiting the place, could let you miss on the moment. Reading is not a bad thing; not at all, but the books can always wait when you get back home. In the meantime, why not explore the place and experience new things in a new environment. After all, you would only be staying there for a limited time.

Different Gadgets

You may want to stay connected to your friends and family members, which is why you might be bringing various gadgets with you. However, there’s no need to bring all of them with you, like your laptop, tablet, etc. If you have a smartphone, it would be enough to go online and catch up with your loved ones or play games to keep you occupied while on the plane or airport.

Now that you have them off your list, you can focus on the essentials that you would truly need for a convenient vacation.
